Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Substantial clinical practice experience, including telemedicine or virtual care.
- Prior clinical leadership experience managing teams within telehealth, digital health, or high-volume virtual practices.
- Hands-on experience building, running, or auditing clinical quality assurance programs.
- Experience authoring and maintaining clinical protocols.
- Active medical license in good standing in at least one US state.
- Basic proficiency with AI tools and software.
- Ability to pass NCQA credentialing and standardized background checks.
- Primary care experience is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI or automation into clinical quality or protocol workflows is a plus.
- Comfort with EHR configuration, clinical decision support, or point-of-care tooling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Write, update, and refine clinical protocols for virtual on-demand, urgent, and convenience care programs.
- Translate clinical protocols into logic utilized by the virtual care platform.
- Lead the clinical quality assurance program and integrate AI tools to scale findings and feedback.
- Develop and manage frameworks to track patient and clinical outcomes across care programs.
- Manage clinical patient-safety escalation protocols and handle active escalations to ensure consistent clinical standards.
