Requirements
- Associate degree in CADD, engineering technology, the sciences, or a related field.
- Normally a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
- Proven discipline design experience.
- Proficient in project setup and startup.
- Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of a Designer.
- Ability to provide technical expertise for design problem resolution.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a discipline designer on multidiscipline, multiple, and large, complex projects.
- Provide conceptual input to projects during the planning and execution stages.
- Interface with engineers and architects to support project execution.
- Assist in the pricing, estimating, scoping, and marketing strategies for proposed projects.
- Evaluate design changes and make recommendations.
- Use engineering and design software to prepare design documents.
- Adhere to quality assurance and quality control standards.
- Perform occasional site visits or field assignments.
