Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing and supporting applications within the IBM i environment (SQL, Data Queues, DB2, CL, RPG, SQLRPG, RPG Free).
- Strong experience with Stored Procedures, RDi, RDP, ACS, or VS Code.
- Advanced ability to write free-form SQL queries and work with complex databases.
- Experience with application analysis tools such as X-Analysis, Hawkeye, or Abstract.
- Advanced knowledge of IBM i Work Management (job queues, subsystems, debugging).
- Familiarity with IBM i operating system versions V7R4 and V7R5.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience with FTP, encrypted FTP, and secure file-transfer communications.
- Experience integrating with platforms such as Oracle, Salesforce, and AWS.
- Ability to work remotely during Arizona business hours.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, code, test, debug, and enhance complex proprietary and third-party applications.
- Translate requirements into detailed technical specifications, designs, and user stories.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and implement scalable solutions.
- Lead high-complexity application development projects including scope and solution design.
- Provide escalated technical support and resolve issues referred by IT Customer Support.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain development quality and consistency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and training to less-experienced analysts.
