Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–4 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Vue.js, including familiarity with either the Composition API or Options API.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers to create applications that are usable, accessible, responsive, and visually consistent.
- Working knowledge of Tailwind CSS.
- Understanding of SQL-based databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for source control and collaborative development.
- Experience with collaboration and project-management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Slack.
- Practical understanding of HTTP requests and API integration using tools such as Axios or Fetch API.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Customer Support to define technical solutions and create intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences.
- Work closely with backend developers to design, integrate, and consume APIs using technologies such as Axios and Fetch.
- Build scalable, reusable front-end components and libraries for multi-tenant applications.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable, responsive code.
- Optimize front-end applications and components for performance across a broad range of browsers and web-enabled devices.
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to an effective Agile development process.
- Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and follow established code management and revision-control practices.
- Respond quickly to production issues, troubleshoot bugs, and implement reliable fixes.
- Contribute to technical discussions and help translate business requirements into practical front-end solutions.
