Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1–4 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on front-end development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Vue.js, including familiarity with either the Composition API or Options API.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers to create applications that are usable, accessible, responsive, and visually consistent.
  • Working knowledge of Tailwind CSS.
  • Understanding of SQL-based databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub for source control and collaborative development.
  • Experience with collaboration and project-management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Slack.
  • Practical understanding of HTTP requests and API integration using tools such as Axios or Fetch API.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Customer Support to define technical solutions and create intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences.
  • Work closely with backend developers to design, integrate, and consume APIs using technologies such as Axios and Fetch.
  • Build scalable, reusable front-end components and libraries for multi-tenant applications.
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable, responsive code.
  • Optimize front-end applications and components for performance across a broad range of browsers and web-enabled devices.
  • Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to an effective Agile development process.
  • Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and follow established code management and revision-control practices.
  • Respond quickly to production issues, troubleshoot bugs, and implement reliable fixes.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and help translate business requirements into practical front-end solutions.
