Requirements
- 8+ years of data science experience with demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying ML models in production.
- 5+ years of management experience, including talent development and cross-functional leadership.
- Deep technical expertise in AI/ML approaches and hands-on experience developing models from conception through production.
- Experience with MLOps practices including model versioning, experiment tracking, and product monitoring.
- Proven ability to translate requirements into technical solutions in partnership with product and engineering teams.
- Demonstrated leadership in establishing technical standards, best practices, and team processes.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Capability to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
- Self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
- Must be able to work from a dedicated, distraction-free space to protect PHI/HIPAA information.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and validation of AI/ML models for both business segment-specific and company-wide applications.
- Define the technical vision and roadmap for the data science team.
- Collaborate with the AI Product Management team to translate product priorities into technical approaches and resource requirements.
- Promote experimentation and rapid prototyping to validate technical feasibility and model performance.
- Maintain enterprise-level frameworks for model monitoring and performance tracking in production.
- Engage with clinical and operational partners to validate model output and ensure solutions address real-world needs.
- Develop a high-performing team and create shared libraries to increase productivity.
