Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in IT Release Management, Change Management, IT Operations, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience coordinating application and infrastructure deployments in enterprise environments.
- Experience managing release schedules, dependencies, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
- Experience working within formal ITIL-based Change and Release Management processes.
- Experience coordinating activities across multiple technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of release management tools, deployment processes, and production support practices.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of IT security, compliance, risk management, and governance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Execute and coordinate release activities for application and infrastructure initiatives.
- Manage assigned release activities across multiple applications, teams, and projects, including tracking dependencies and milestones.
- Collaborate with team members, deployment sponsors, vendors, and customers to ensure successful and timely release execution.
- Maintain release schedules, documentation, archives, and related records.
- Monitor upcoming releases, maintenance activities, dependencies, risks, and required resources.
- Ensure release activities comply with established ITIL, Change Management, and Release Management policies, processes, and procedures.
- Track release progress and provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Execute release closeout activities and participate in post-release reviews.
