Requirements
- 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role.
- Strong cloud infrastructure expertise in compute, networking, identity management, and databases (primarily AWS).
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes production operations including cluster management and debugging.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform with proper state management.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with deployment automation and advanced strategies like blue-green or canary.
- Solid Linux systems administration skills at the OS level.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools for alerting and incident response.
- Security mindset with experience in access control, secrets management, and network security.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Must be able to work 40+ hours per week with overlap in UTC+8 (Singapore time).
- Must have reliable internet and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Own and operate cloud infrastructure including compute, networking, and identity management using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Manage container orchestration workloads including cluster upgrades, deployment management, and autoscaling.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and quality gates.
- Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing across all services.
- Harden security posture through cloud security management, automated scanning, access policies, and network security.
- Operate messaging infrastructure for event-driven architectures with effective retry strategies.
- Standardize repeatable infrastructure provisioning to support rapid market expansion.
- Support the engineering team as an infrastructure expert and creator of self-service tooling.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production incident response and root-cause analysis.
