Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications at scale on cloud platforms.
- 5+ years of experience in technical leadership and development roles using OCR technologies.
- Expert proficiency in C#/.NET.
- Expert proficiency with OCR technologies such as Tesseract or Apryse.
- Expert proficiency building event-driven, microservice-based products.
- Expert proficiency developing on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Expert proficiency with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
- Expert proficiency in observability, including logging, metrics, tracing, and telemetry (preferably DataDog).
- Proven track record of building scalable applications currently in production.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for document content extraction and transformation team on AWS.
- Lead architectural decisions using OCR technologies like Tesseract and Apryse.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures and scalable APIs.
- Build production-grade applications across C#/.NET and AWS cloud services.
- Integrate AI-driven services and implement semantic search capabilities.
- Ensure security, performance, and compliance across implementations.
- Mentor engineers across experience levels and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Monitor performance through logging, metrics, and telemetry.
