Requirements
- 12+ years of backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Track record of architecting and operating high-traffic platform services with focus on API design, versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Proficiency in Go or TypeScript/JavaScript, with strong working ability in the other.
- Experience with Kubernetes and serverless runtimes such as GCP Cloud Run.
- Experience with major cloud providers including GCP and AWS.
- Experience with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD and Helm.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI, MCP, and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) frameworks.
- Ability to lead high-stakes technical migrations and set organizational technical direction.
- Preferred: Experience with durable execution workflows like Temporal.
- Preferred: Experience with Terraform at scale.
- Preferred: Experience co-owning shared monorepos across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Own tooling and services for CI/CD pipelines including GitOps deployment API/CLI, self-service capabilities, and shared TypeScript package ecosystems.
- Lead stabilization and strategic evolution of mission-critical systems and technical direction across delivery tooling and Go-based automation platforms.
- Design and build high-leverage, high-risk components in Go and TypeScript/Node while setting development patterns.
- Apply Agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and durable workflows like Temporal to infrastructure automation.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, drive design and code quality, and influence partner teams without relying on positional authority.
