Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IT, IS, or equivalent, with 5 years experience as a Principal Software Engineer (or equivalent).
- Alternatively, Master's degree in CS, Engineering, IT, IS, or equivalent, with 3 years experience as a Principal Software Engineer (or equivalent).
- Expertise in architecting and building applications in multi-Cloud platforms using Go and AWS.
- Demonstrated expertise designing secure, high-performance APIs, microservices, and web applications using Golang, Java, and Python.
- Strong understanding of RESTful principles and security control implementation.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git/Bitbucket and quality/security tools like Sonar Cloud and Snyk.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database optimization (Redis, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
- Experience scaling containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, ECR, EKS, RDS, and S3.
- Ability to monitor and optimize performance using Datadog.
Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture.
- Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems.
- Recommend testing tools and methodologies and oversee QA readiness of deliverables.
- Establish full project life cycle plans and ensure projects meet goals on-time and on-budget.
- Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy and provide technical evaluation estimates.
- Mentor junior team members and perform complex technical analysis for divisional initiatives.
