Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
- Previous experience at a high-growth software company is preferred.
- Advanced financial modeling skills including three-statement, driver-based, and scenario modeling.
- Strong command of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, CAC payback, LTV to CAC, magic number, burn multiple).
- Fluency in SQL and experience working with modern data warehouses and BI stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Omni).
- Expert proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear narratives for executives and the board.
- High ownership and ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
- First-principles mindset and strong business judgment.
- Experience scaling a finance function in a high-growth environment is a bonus.
- Familiarity with AI or usage-based COGS and consumption economics is a bonus.
- Experience partnering with Product or Engineering on ROI and resource-allocation decisions is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain rolling, driver-based operating models to ensure decision-ready financial data.
- Drive quarterly reforecast cycles, managing calendar, inputs, and outputs.
- Manage annual operating, headcount, and workforce planning cycles.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly budget-versus-actuals and variance analysis.
- Strengthen rigor of SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR, GRR, CAC payback, and LTV to CAC.
- Partner with Accounting, RevOps, and Data teams to streamline monthly close processes.
- Prepare financial analysis and supporting materials for board and investor reporting.
- Lead ad hoc strategic and scenario analysis for senior leadership.
- Analyze product-level unit economics, COGS, and AI/infrastructure spend to optimize margins.
