Requirements
- Proven, deep production experience with React and TypeScript.
- Experience working with or modernizing large, under-documented legacy codebases.
- Expertise in accessibility (WCAG) including semantic HTML and screen-reader support.
- Understanding of microfrontend architecture principles.
- Experience with state management libraries such as TanStack Query and React Context.
- Proficiency with frontend testing tools including Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and MSW.
- Knowledge of internationalization patterns and locale-aware UI development.
- Strong conceptual thinking to grasp high-level architecture and complex systems.
- Ability to communicate directly and provide constructive feedback.
- Working familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Java/Kotlin, or database technologies (PostgreSQL, AWS).
Responsibilities
- Own frontend work on the core product by shipping features and fixing bugs.
- Modernize and maintain legacy codebases while planning strategic feature development.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers on project architecture.
- Oversee microfrontend frameworks and lead cross-functional team initiatives.
- Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) are integrated into all components by default.
- Measure and improve frontend performance, including Core Web Vitals.
