Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of professional experience, including at least five years of cloud engineering and three years focused on AWS in production.
- Hands-on experience with AWS core services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
- Production-grade experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).
- Solid experience designing and operating Amazon EKS or ECS clusters at scale.
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application workloads.
- Strong scripting proficiency in Python and Bash.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, key management, and compliance.
- Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and alerting in cloud-native environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade AWS environments across compute, networking, storage, identity, and managed data services.
- Author and maintain production-quality infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Design multi-account AWS organizations and secure VPC topologies to support scalable enterprise adoption.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Implement comprehensive observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.
- Drive ongoing cost optimization through right-sizing and architectural simplification.
- Strengthen security posture and lead remediation efforts using AWS security services.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead architecture/design reviews.
