Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Cloud Architect role within a consulting environment.
- Deep expertise across AWS services, specifically AI/ML (Bedrock, SageMaker) and data platforms (Redshift, Glue).
- Experience with AWS migration services and database modernization (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB).
- Proven ability to build SOWs and calculate AWS pricing models.
- Strong communication skills for presenting architectural tradeoffs to executive stakeholders.
- Understanding of security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and SOC2.
- Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or AWS Machine Learning Specialty (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer requirements and infrastructure constraints.
- Act as the technical authority in client meetings to articulate architectural tradeoffs.
- Partner with Account Executives on AWS co-sell motions to validate technical fit.
- Design Well-Architected AWS reference diagrams for GenAI and data platforms.
- Define cloud migration strategies using rehost, replatform, or refactor frameworks.
- Develop accurate AWS cost estimates and draft technical scopes for Statements of Work.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery alignment and feasibility.
- Conduct technical handoffs with documented architectures, assumptions, and risk logs.
