Requirements
- 5+ years experience building and maintaining highly scalable and reliable services in Java or a similar language
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, cloud providers such as AWS, and/or related technologies
- Experience using relational and/or OLAP databases
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain micro-services and backend software components in modern Java
- Develop and maintain state-of-the-art features within Apache Druid
- Lead in the design and development of major features across teams
- Coordinate directly with PM, UX design, frontend engineers, and backend engineers to successfully deliver major initiatives, new features, and products
- Be on-call for production issues (2 weeks per cycle, 4-6 times per year)
