Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles supporting cloud or cloud-security products.
  • 8+ years of experience working in or supporting the U.S. Federal Government, Military, or Defense Industrial Base.
  • Experience delivering cloud solutions across at least one major CSP (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and their government-specific offerings.
  • Practical experience navigating the FedRAMP authorization process and federal security requirements (NIST 800-53, DoD CC SRG, DISA STIGs, FIPS).
  • Practical experience deploying and operationalizing containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and addressing security considerations.
  • Practical experience deploying and operationalizing DevOps technologies (CI/CD, Version Control Systems, Infrastructure as Code) and managing their security implications.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating system security concepts and technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and Wiz platform expert throughout your customers’ journey, confidently guiding them through deployment, configuration, and operationalization using federal cloud-security best practices.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for your customers, driving the resolution of highly complex architectural and operational challenges across intricate federal cloud environments.
  • Act proactively by leading the customer on a journey to full adoption and value, and promoting excellence in addressing Cloud, Code, and Runtime security risk.
  • Help customers develop success plans with measurable goals throughout the Wiz lifecycle that align with their organizational security, compliance, and mission objectives.
  • Navigate complex federal organizational structures, building and cultivating relationships with key contacts—from agency CISOs and Authorizing Officials (AOs) to technical practitioners—to drive forward key Wiz objectives.
  • Translate complex federal cybersecurity mandates into actionable, technical deployment strategies within the Wiz platform.
  • Assist federal customers in navigating the Authority to Operate (ATO) and continuous monitoring processes by leveraging Wiz's compliance and reporting capabilities.
  • Act as the 'Voice of the Federal Customer' internally, partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize Wiz for Gov feature parity and advocate for government-specific platform enhancements.
  • Develop documentation, mentor TAMs, and develop an area of technical subject-matter expertise to grow the breadth of the team.
