Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in database development and BI reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including window functions and common table expressions.
- Expert knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, and dynamic data visualization tools.
- Solid understanding of Epic Clarity and Caboodle data platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare data structures and Electronic Health Record workflows.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and tools such as MS SSIS and ADF.
- Advanced knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data lakes, and relational/dimensional database design.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies like SCRUM, Lean, or Kanban.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or healthcare discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Epic Clarity-Caboodle Development certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with business teams to translate requirements into BI reports and dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, and SSRS.
- Create data models, ERD, and data flow diagrams.
- Build functional data marts for in-depth analytics.
- Perform data analysis and ad-hoc queries to support business decision-making.
- Implement best practices for data quality and integrity.
- Maintain and extend the Epic Caboodle platform and develop custom data modeling components.
- Support enterprise data standards, master data management, and data governance initiatives.
- Contribute to project lifecycle activities including intake, estimation, and task prioritization.
