Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of six months related pharmacy experience.
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as required by state laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High-speed internet access (cable broadband or fiber optic) with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
- RxHome experience (a plus).
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter patient prescriptions into the system.
- Ensure prescriptions are evaluated under insurance coverage and dispensed correctly.
- Assist pharmacists in filling orders and preparing labels.
- Interact directly with healthcare providers to resolve issues.
- Provide guidance to patients regarding medication coverage.
- Track utilization and inventory as required.
- Document all information consistently within the computer system.
