Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, data science, statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare data analysis and reporting, preferably within a clinical or healthcare environment.
- Strong proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Tableau, Excel, or comparable platforms.
- Solid understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare data systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns and trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical and analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with a meticulous approach to data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, analytics, and business stakeholders and manage multiple reporting priorities.
- For remote work, ability to maintain a dedicated home-office environment that protects confidential member and HIPAA-related information.
- Reliable non-cellular high-speed internet is required, with minimum speeds of 30 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload and latency below 80 ms.
Responsibilities
- Gather, organize, analyze, and interpret clinical data from multiple sources to identify meaningful trends, performance patterns, utilization insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, presentations, and other analytical deliverables that provide actionable insights to senior leadership and clinical stakeholders.
- Evaluate clinical performance indicators, establish KPIs and benchmarks, and monitor progress across the broader clinical operations function.
- Review dashboards and real-time metrics to support data-driven decisions and identify emerging operational or quality issues.
- Partner with clinical teams to understand workflows, operational challenges, reporting needs, and opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with Data & Analytics and other cross-functional teams to promote data integrity, accuracy, standardization, and effective reporting solutions.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend practical, data-driven strategies informed by analytical findings and relevant industry practices.
- Document analytical methodologies, findings, and recommendations clearly, and present complex information in an accessible and compelling way to senior leaders.
- Work closely with clinical leadership, including the Director of Medical Management, to support executive reporting and clinical utilization analysis.
