Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in UX, website design, digital experience, or information architecture.
- Proven track record leading complex, content-rich public website redesigns and CMS migration projects.
- Portfolio demonstrating information architecture, content strategy, wireframes, and responsive design.
- Ability to conduct website and content audits to make evidence-based decisions.
- Deep understanding of CMS-driven experiences, content models, and reusable component libraries.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and WCAG accessibility requirements.
- Working knowledge of SEO, website analytics, conversion optimization, and usability testing.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience connecting public website journeys with account opening and financial services.
- Experience in credit unions, banking, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and experience strategy for complex public website redesign and CMS migration initiatives.
- Assess existing websites across content, information architecture, navigation, and member journeys to identify migration strategies.
- Define target website experience, UX principles, information architecture, and content hierarchy.
- Facilitate discovery workshops and decision-making sessions with executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Design intuitive pathways for financial products, services, and account-opening experiences.
- Develop design systems and reusable CMS component libraries to balance member needs and brand consistency.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure implementation feasibility and maintain design quality.
