Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of experience coordinating and executing events across the full lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, multiple stakeholders, timelines, and competing priorities.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements in a dynamic federal environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
- Experience in a federal government or federal government consulting environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, and process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- CMP or CGMP certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of internal and external events, including timelines, venues, vendors, registration, materials, and logistics.
- Serve as the primary on-site coordinator during events to manage vendors, speakers, and stakeholders.
- Complete post-event tasks including budget reconciliation, reporting, and attendee follow-up.
- Research STEM-focused events and provide recommendations based on ROI and budget.
- Deliver information sessions and presentations to university partners and students.
- Develop content for reports, presentations, and program communications.
- Support special projects by tracking workflows, action items, and deliverables.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement through updates, follow-ups, and documentation.
