Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating and executing events across the full lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, multiple stakeholders, timelines, and competing priorities.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements in a dynamic federal environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
  • Experience in a federal government or federal government consulting environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, and process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • CMP or CGMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of internal and external events, including timelines, venues, vendors, registration, materials, and logistics.
  • Serve as the primary on-site coordinator during events to manage vendors, speakers, and stakeholders.
  • Complete post-event tasks including budget reconciliation, reporting, and attendee follow-up.
  • Research STEM-focused events and provide recommendations based on ROI and budget.
  • Deliver information sessions and presentations to university partners and students.
  • Develop content for reports, presentations, and program communications.
  • Support special projects by tracking workflows, action items, and deliverables.
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement through updates, follow-ups, and documentation.
