Requirements
- 4+ years of professional data science experience building and shipping models in production.
- Solid grounding in traditional ML (classification, regression, anomaly detection, clustering, time series) using scikit-learn or statsmodels.
- Hands-on experience with large language models, prompt engineering, and LLM application architectures (embeddings-based search, vector stores).
- Experience building or contributing to LLM-powered agentic systems (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- Strong Python and SQL skills, including use of pandas, numpy, and visual toolkits (plotly, seaborn, matplotlib).
- Solid statistical foundations (distributions, hypothesis testing, probability).
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration and mentorship skills.
- Domain experience in cybersecurity (anomaly detection, threat hunting, risk scoring) is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship ML and GenAI systems, such as anomaly detection models and LLM-powered agentic workflows, from research to production.
- Communicate technical concepts, project goals, and outcomes clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure AI/ML capabilities are deployable, monitorable, and maintainable.
- Partner with subject matter experts to identify opportunities for prompt engineering and knowledge retrieval to deliver value.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the data science team.
- Mentor and coach other data scientists and colleagues.
