Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product design and/or design engineering roles.
- 2+ years of experience in senior-level design positions at significant global consumer brands.
- Proven ability to prototype in code to a production standard.
- Solid understanding of semantic markup and web accessibility.
- Fluency in motion and interaction design, including easing curves and physics.
- Experience structuring design systems with token layering and primitive/semantic naming.
- Proficiency in project management across the full development lifecycle.
- Experience conducting and leveraging qualitative and quantitative research data.
- Ability to communicate visual and interaction recommendations via high-quality prototypes.
- Experience defining technical requirements to improve design and engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Bridge the gap between design and front-end implementation by working directly in the codebase.
- Partner with front-end engineers to ensure design execution meets quality standards.
- Propose and execute high-impact solutions for complex product problems.
- Design and prototype high-fidelity interactions and motion behavior.
- Develop tools and frameworks that accelerate design-to-engineering workflows.
- Manage and evolve design systems, including token architecture and semantic naming.
- Instrument work to capture data for informed product design decisions.
