Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or other relevant field.
- Active LCSW licensure in New York State in good standing.
- 3+ years of relevant experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and relaxation strategies.
- Experience teaching strategies that impact the brain-gut connection.
- Ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary care providers.
- Comfortable using common administrative technologies such as Zoom, Slack, Office, and Google Drive.
- Experience with electronic charting and telehealth platforms.
- Must reside within New York State.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of care providers including MDs and Dietitians to provide comprehensive and coordinated member care.
- Utilize evidenced-based clinical interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and gut-directed hypnotherapy.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments to design and implement goals that support clients with GI conditions.
- Maintain health records and encounters in electronic health records according to company clinical protocols.
- Participate in professional training activities to maintain licensure and advance clinical knowledge.
- Attend clinical coordination meetings with other care team members.
- Contribute to the development of psychological best practices and provide feedback to the clinical team.
