Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in security engineering and operations managing mission-critical systems.
- Expertise in vulnerability management tools, patching processes, and configuration or file-integrity monitoring.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud security and infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Wiz and Tenable vulnerability assessment tools.
- In-depth knowledge of network and system vulnerabilities, TCP/IP, and networking protocols.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, baseline security configurations, and forensic principles.
- Ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and working in a fast-paced environment with on-call duties.
- AWS Security or AWS Architect certifications are desired.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for all programs within the Vulnerability and Compliance Management space.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments using tools such as Wiz and Tenable.
- Identify weaknesses in IT infrastructure and communicate findings to prioritize remediation.
- Configure, tune, and maintain vulnerability management tools and build security baselines for CIS, DISA STIG, and custom frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and integrate tools with all cloud environments.
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior members of the VCM team and develop standard operating procedures and documentation.
