Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working with transportation management systems (TMS).
- Experience with leading platforms such as IBM Logistics & Supply Chain, Oracle Transportation Management, SAP, Manhattan, E2Open, or o9 Solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in solutions consulting, software implementation, business analysis, or supply chain technology.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles involving requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder persuasion.
- Strong business analysis capabilities, including understanding of supply chain processes, statistical concepts, and inventory optimization.
- Ability to prepare and deliver clear presentations to user, management, and executive-level audiences.
- Basic Excel proficiency, including data cleansing and pivot tables.
- Familiarity with APIs, SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON.
- Ability or willingness to learn and execute simple SQL queries.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel 50%–75% within the United States.
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Operations Research preferred (Bachelor's with relevant experience considered).
Responsibilities
- Lead the functional design, optimization, configuration, and implementation of transportation management solutions for large enterprise customers.
- Analyze customer business processes and requirements to determine how transportation management capabilities can be delivered effectively.
- Serve as the primary functional liaison between customer stakeholders, project managers, technical consultants, and third-party partners.
- Lead solution design activities, ensuring requirements, solution constructs, validation activities, and implementation timelines are defined.
- Apply supply chain domain expertise to develop solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Guide system integration, user acceptance testing, deployment, and transition activities.
- Communicate customer-specific business cases and product enhancement requirements to product stakeholders.
- Prepare, validate, and interpret reports and project data to support solution design and customer decision-making.
