Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, or 12 additional years of relevant experience.
- At least 12 years of relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of onsite, field, or construction administration experience.
- At least 2 years of leadership or management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of MEP, fire alarm, fire protection, and related construction trades.
- Proven experience with mission-critical, data center, or complex construction environments.
- Understanding of Method of Procedure (MOP) processes.
- Experience using operational metrics and reporting for decision-making.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Procore.
- Strong strategic problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate departmental goals, standards, and strategic initiatives for construction administration.
- Oversee construction administration delivery across projects, ensuring quality, performance, and client satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and develop Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
- Develop policies, workflows, and standards for RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punchlists.
- Manage resource forecasting, staffing, and operational planning for departmental growth.
- Serve as a senior relationship owner for strategic clients and lead business development efforts.
- Champion the use of construction management technology and AI to improve documentation and reporting.
