Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience building Java services in production.
- Expertise with Spring Boot and REST API design.
- Experience with contract-first development and layered service architectures.
- Ability to adapt and contribute to modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Experience building and consuming service/domain contracts.
- Proficiency with data modeling, optimizing queries, caching, and serialization.
- Hands-on experience with tools like MapStruct, Lombok, and Maven.
- Proficient in automated testing including unit, integration, component, and performance testing.
- Solid understanding of messaging/async patterns, feature flags, and configuration management.
- Focus on observability, performance profiling, and system resilience.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted tools for coding and debugging.
- Competence in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve platform APIs and services for low-latency, resilient endpoints.
- Design and implement Spring Boot microservices using modern architecture patterns.
- Integrate with platform services including appointments, patients, messaging, and authentication.
- Improve reliability and performance via caching, connection management, and optimized data access.
- Implement observability, structured logging, metrics, and automated build/deploy pipelines.
- Write robust unit, component, contract, and integration tests.
- Mentor engineers and lead technical design reviews to drive consistency.
- Contribute to frontend interface development using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
