Requirements
- Solid experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, C, C++, Rust).
- Experience leading and delivering projects from requirements gathering to shipping products.
- Experience developing software for the Cloud or professional experience in systems engineering.
- Experience with DevOps models and participating in on-call rotations.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with observability systems (metrics, logs, traces) for debugging purposes.
- Proficiency in writing clean, robust, and performant, maintainable software.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Motivated self-starter with a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience using LLMs like Claude or Codex in daily workflows.
- Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes, queue systems like Kafka, or infrastructure as code.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems while owning their reliability, performance, and availability.
- Deliver new features by working with the team, iterating based on results, and driving projects from initial idea to production.
- Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations and take ownership of service operations.
- Collaborate with teammates on design discussions, code reviews, and PRs.
- Influence team roadmap and contribute to open-source projects beyond the immediate squad scope.
- Leverage AI coding assistants to iterate quickly on prototyping, testing, and documentation.
