Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Information Management, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial and Medical Affairs applications and technology solutions.
  • Understanding of technology product management, technical product support, service operations, and technology lifecycle practices.
  • Experience supporting technology platforms for large and diverse field-user populations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities for managing and provisioning large volumes of data.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive technology solutions.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, service quality, operational KPIs, and support processes.
  • Strong project management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within matrixed organizations and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying operational risks and developing corrective action plans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and ongoing technical support for field technology platforms used across Sales, Market Access, Marketing, and Medical Affairs.
  • Develop and maintain application runbooks, user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Establish robust quality controls and alerts for field applications to address business-impacting issues.
  • Support application enhancements by documenting technical specifications and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end service support, including incident resolution and user inquiries.
  • Oversee application deployments and production change migrations using version control and agile release practices.
  • Manage vendor operations, establish service standards and KPIs, and lead regular performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams on upgrades, patching, and threat detection.
  • Ensure consistency across data warehouses, reporting platforms, and executive dashboards.
  • Drive platform engagement through utilization analysis, onboarding support, and training sessions.
