Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience building production applications.
- Strong expertise in Java; Kotlin experience is advantageous.
- 4+ years of experience designing and operating highly scalable software systems.
- Solid knowledge of OOP design principles and data structures.
- Demonstrated experience developing REST and/or GraphQL services.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in relational database design.
- At least 2 years of experience with React and modern frontend development.
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, browser fundamentals, and accessibility.
- Experience with unit, integration, API, and frontend testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable API and serving layers using REST and/or GraphQL.
- Develop high-performance backend services primarily with Java and Kotlin.
- Build data-driven product experiences that transform large volumes of data into actionable insights.
- Design and optimize data-access patterns across APIs, databases, and caching layers.
- Develop and maintain React and TypeScript user experiences.
- Establish clear, maintainable contracts and boundaries between frontend and backend services.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues using observability tools.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
