Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering skills including system design, scalable APIs, and production data pipelines.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience building complex AI applications beyond simple RAG or chatbots.
- Experience with LLMs, ML, model orchestration, prompt engineering, and embeddings.
- Experience integrating with SQL databases, data warehouses, or analytics APIs.
- Comfort with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong product intuition and customer-centric thinking.
- Background at a high-velocity, VC-backed startup.
- Strong CS or math fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on proofs of concept (POCs) exploring AI integration across data and marketing workflows.
- Architect and build production LLM pipelines and data agents that help users answer analytics and data science questions using their own data.
- Make key technical decisions around AI architecture, frameworks, and when to apply specific LLM methodologies.
- Partner directly with senior leadership to define, prototype, and ship new product ideas.
- Develop a deep understanding of user workflows to create seamless, AI-assisted user experiences.
- Evaluate different AI approaches and determine where various LLMs can be effectively applied.
