Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building front-end systems running on the cloud.
- Hands-on experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects with multiple engineers.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Experience with serverless architectures, EKS, SQS, and MongoDB.
- Strong expertise with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaaS offerings.
- Background in billing concepts, including credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, CSP marketplaces, invoicing, and auditing.
- Demonstrated experience building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across the full software life cycle.
- Strong problem-solving and production debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ClickHouse cloud’s billing and metering platform.
- Design and implement mission-critical processes for billing operations.
- Deliver secure, efficient, and highly available frameworks that abstract infrastructure complexity.
- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions.
- Integrate billing systems with external services including metering, logging, monitoring, and support.
