Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.
- Experience preparing and analyzing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Experience with bank and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Online.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and categorize business transactions.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and review accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Analyze company spending, monitor margins, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve profitability.
- Assist with forecasting revenue, expenses, cash flow, and development of budgets.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes and tax preparation activities.
