Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Practical experience with dbt.
- Experience with Dagster, Airflow, or comparable orchestration tools.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Understanding of data quality and monitoring practices.
- Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines.
- Experience with AI-assisted development using Cursor or similar tools.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Snowflake certification would be a plus.
- Availability for substantial overlap with US Central Time, especially from 2:00 PM CST onward, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines and data products in Snowflake.
- Develop data transformation logic using dbt.
- Support the migration of existing Alteryx workflows to the new data platform.
- Build and maintain orchestration workflows using Dagster or Airflow.
- Validate data outputs and investigate discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot issues related to business logic and data transformations.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, BI, and Data Governance teams.
- Participate in technical design discussions.
- Use Cursor and LLM-based tools in the day-to-day engineering workflow.
