Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a data quality, ML data engineering, or applied ML role.
- Proven experience working with computer vision or object detection systems in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, pipeline automation, and building dataset tooling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate large volumes of imagery and data.
- Experience using dataset annotation and labeling tools such as Roboflow, Labelbox, or CVAT.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Experience with continuous learning or active learning pipelines for production ML (preferred).
- Familiarity with OCR systems and identifier recognition (plates, container numbers) (preferred).
- Background in QA or test engineering for ML systems (preferred).
- Direct experience with the Roboflow platform (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own tracking and reporting of CV accuracy metrics, per customer and per identifier type.
- Investigate misclassifications and false negatives to categorize root causes and identify patterns.
- Curate, label, and prioritize datasets for model retraining in partnership with ML and CV engineers.
- Build and improve the continuous learning pipeline to facilitate weekly model shipments.
- Define functional acceptance criteria for CV accuracy per customer and track progress.
- Translate accuracy findings into actionable decisions for engineering and customer-facing teams.
- Develop labeling and preprocessing tooling and own technical fixes for identified error patterns.
