Requirements
- Strong SQL proficiency (window functions, aggregation, distribution analysis).
- Proven experience owning production data pipelines end-to-end.
- Software engineering skills to write, test, and review pipeline code.
- Ability to work independently and set priorities within a domain.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Professional working English.
- Availability during US East Coast working hours.
- Experience with data privacy practices like anonymization, GDPR, or LGPD (preferred).
- Experience with multi-tenant B2B SaaS data (preferred).
- Analytics engineering experience with tools like dbt (preferred).
- Knowledge of statistical methods such as survival analysis or hierarchical models (preferred).
- Familiarity with Postgres, Parquet, DuckDB, or Cloudflare Workers (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Define and instrument data collection in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Build validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity.
- Manage data protection, anonymization, and compliance practices.
- Design canonical data models and taxonomies to ensure consistency across customers.
- Develop datasets and documentation to support internal and customer-facing analytics.
- Document data structures for team accessibility.
