Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of experience in network and security managed-services operations.
- Deep knowledge of networking principles, TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and authentication.
- Experience with NSX, cloud security, and secure configuration management.
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, & GCP networking and connectivity models.
- Proven experience operating networking environments supporting mission-critical workloads.
- Proficiency in cyber-attack response, threat detection, and risk-based controls.
- Experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
- Deep familiarity with Palo Alto firewall environments.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CEH, GIAC, CISA, CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, SANS, ITIL, PMP.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the Networking & Security managed service in collaboration with internal teams.
- Design and implement secure network architectures including cloud hosting and system hardening.
- Implement event management, dynamic monitoring, observability, and predictive monitoring / AIOps.
- Author operational runbooks and automation to ensure service repeatability.
- Lead and mentor technical teams while overseeing budget, contract milestones, and SLA compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security alerts and network configuration issues for clients.
- Develop training materials and deliver executive-level reporting for managed service clients.
