Requirements
- Portfolio of shipped consumer product work across web and native mobile.
- Expertise in systems thinking and interaction design patterns.
- Proficiency in running both generative and evaluative user research.
- Ability to build interactive prototypes rapidly (in hours, not days).
- Experience writing production-quality frontend code.
- Proven ability to use AI tools for research, prototyping, and design workflows.
- Demonstrated skill in data-centered design and metric tracking.
- Strong communication skills for presenting design rationale and rationale.
- Ability to work independently and operate with high agency.
Responsibilities
- Own the experience layer end-to-end across customer journeys, web, and native mobile apps.
- Design and build experiences that solve user problems and drive business outcomes.
- Define and maintain the bar for product quality, delight, and interaction excellence.
- Conduct generative and evaluative research to ground design decisions in user behavior.
- Contribute to and evolve the Babylist design system with reusable components.
- Write production frontend code to implement and polish design experiences directly.
- Support AI-enabled workflows to democratize design and collaborate with non-designers.
- Multiply team impact by fostering strong partnerships with product, engineering, and data teams.
