Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of consulting experience
- 7+ years of Databricks solution design, implementation, and engineering experience
- 5+ years building data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark, Scala, and/or Spark SQL
- Alternatively, 5+ years of ML or AI Engineering experience deploying, promoting, and serving models, building feature stores, or RAG systems
- Hands-on experience with streaming and front-end development (e.g., Lakeflow, Databricks Apps)
- Knowledge of Agent Ready Data architectures (e.g., Genie, Multi-Agent Orchestration)
- Knowledge of Databricks ML and Gen AI features
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, customer-facing setting
- Software engineering or DevOps experience (preferred)
- Terraform experience for deploying/configuring metastores and workspaces (highly desirable)
- Databricks certifications (highly regarded)
- Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Engage in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex AI, Engineering and Data & Analytics cases on the Databricks platform
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients from data owners to C-level executives
- Serve as a Databricks subject matter expert internally and externally
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on delivery on projects
- Create and deliver technical and thought leadership content including blogs, webinars, and whitepapers
- Build and deliver end-to-end technical tool demonstrations of Databricks functionality
- Support channel and sales activities providing architecture advisory
- Contribute to the development and deployment of Aimpoint products on the Databricks platform
