Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Software Engineer or Full Stack Engineer.
- 3+ years of experience designing and building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of backend development, asynchronous programming, and concurrency.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and complex third-party integrations.
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, reliability patterns, and observability tools.
- Experience with real-time multimedia or telephony/VoIP protocols such as SIP, RTP/SRTP, WebRTC, or WebSockets.
- Familiarity with AI coding agents like Claude Code or Cursor.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to balance delivery speed, quality, and reliability.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support core platform functionality, backend services, integrations, and user-facing experiences.
- Architect and implement event-driven, integration-heavy services, including asynchronous pipelines and microservices.
- Own production-grade behavior, troubleshoot distributed systems, and improve scalability and data integrity.
- Build robust integrations with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party services.
- Contribute to real-time multimedia and voice capabilities using SIP, RTP/SRTP, WebRTC, and WebSockets.
- Apply cloud-native architecture, observability, and cost-conscious engineering practices to production workloads.
- Partner with Product, QA, and Design teams to translate requirements into high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, establish engineering patterns, and mentor teammates.
- Utilize modern AI coding agents and development tools to accelerate delivery.
