Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in financial principles, concepts, and tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience creating and analyzing complex spreadsheets.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Experience in a government contracting environment or familiarity with DoD regulations is preferred.
- Knowledge of cost proposal development and financial forecasting tools (e.g., TM1) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of cost proposals and develop pricing strategies in collaboration with Proposal Managers.
- Independently monitor project budgets and lead quarterly forecasting cycles using the company's Forecast Tool (TM1).
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and contribute to company-wide financial reporting activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to optimize personnel utilization and non-labor cost forecasting.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and financial operations to ensure project alignment.
- Lead small teams on lower-complexity activities and mentor junior staff.
