Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer, with a focus on B2B SaaS solutions.
- 6-10 years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong foundations in building and shipping products.
- Proven experience building and scaling web applications with real users.
- Expertise in Ruby on Rails, Python, and React.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with SaaS architecture concepts and authentication services.
- Strong startup mentality with a bias for action and experience in fast-paced startup environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience mentoring team members.
- Ability to design performant, maintainable, and evolvable code.
- Strong product sense with the ability to propose improvements to the roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain new features and capabilities for Conveyor’s SaaS platform and AI-powered products, taking full ownership across the stack.
- Autonomously manage and own individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate and pair frequently with teammates and peers.
- Inform the product roadmap and implementation decisions based on feasibility.
- Ensure that our product is maintainable, facilitating ease of contribution for other engineers.
- Partner with Product and Design to plan new features, avoid bottlenecks, and maximize implementation velocity.
- Provide constructive feedback through design and code reviews, and mentor new or junior team members.
