Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience building and delivering scalable web applications across the full software stack.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong professional experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development patterns.
- Strong backend engineering experience, including design and development of scalable services and clean REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Professional experience with Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript ecosystems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency writing SQL for relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience implementing automated testing using RSpec, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with modern deployment pipelines and CI/CD practices, including GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, frontend performance, and data-fetching strategies.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation supporting platform reliability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical vision and delivery of high-performance APIs and end-user experiences using Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain scalable full-stack web applications serving patient and provider experiences.
- Develop clean, reliable APIs using REST and GraphQL while establishing efficient data-fetching models.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-impact features.
- Contribute to evolving software development, testing, and engineering standards.
- Develop automated tests using tools such as RSpec, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Participate in modern CI/CD and deployment processes using GitHub Actions.
- Lead or contribute to complex engineering projects and help align cross-functional teams.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support platform reliability.
