- Strong recent portfolio of short-form edits (20+ from the last few months).
- Familiarity with multiple formats: headline videos, talking heads, voiceovers, and AI videos.
- Ability to interpret metrics such as hook rate, retention, and watch time.
- Ownership mindset and ability to internalize and apply feedback.
- Highly skilled in CapCut Pro or a comparable editing tool.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Experience editing for e-commerce brands.
- Experience reading ad metrics and understanding ad performance drivers.
Responsibilities
- Edit TikTok and Reels content optimized for hook rate, retention, and watch time.
- Review past edits daily to identify performance factors and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to test new creative angles.
- Iterate on winning video formats.
- Turn around content quickly and communicate proactively on a daily basis.
- Monitor TikTok and Instagram trends and apply them to content where relevant.
