Requirements
- Prior management experience.
- Availability for a full-time, fixed-term position from August 10th, 2026, through November 13th, 2026.
- Ability to work five days per week, Monday through Thursday (10:30am to 8:30pm ET or MT), with shortened hours on Fridays.
- Ability to work six days per week after Labor Day.
- Existing relationships in Iowa, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or Wisconsin is a plus.
- Fluency in a second language, including Spanish, is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to members of the organizing team.
- Work with Empower Project to evaluate and hire Community Organizer applicants.
- Manage and lead a team of RODs and CO’s, fostering a supportive team culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure all data is entered in a timely fashion, meeting campaign-wide standards.
- Direct organizing staff during large-scale trainings, managing key elements of technology, presentation and team coordination.
- Maintain a regular 1:1 meeting schedule with direct reports and lead weekly organizing team meetings.
- Ensure program requirements are well-communicated by reviewing and contributing to published materials.
- Monitor results of various accountability and organizing approaches and share best practices with colleagues and leadership.
- Collect and deliver critical feedback on training materials to leadership to improve support.
- Support leadership in monitoring and identifying trends in the recruiter pipeline.
