Requirements
- Solid macOS administration experience.
- Linux comfort including SSH and log analysis.
- Experience with MDM tools such as Kandji or Jamf.
- Knowledge of identity and access management tools like Okta or Google Workspace.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation.
- Understanding of Git for version control.
- Curiosity about AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage ambiguity.
- Experience with Docker or containers (nice to have).
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals like VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs (nice to have).
- Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana or Datadog (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Manage macOS fleet via Kandji MDM including deployments and policies.
- Act as the gatekeeper for access management including onboarding, offboarding, and SSO.
- Support Slack and Jira-based IT requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain and administer self-hosted infrastructure such as firewalls, switches, and internal services.
- Write scripts and lightweight tooling to automate common requests and reduce toil.
- Collaborate with the SRE team on infrastructure awareness and escalations.
- Document runbooks, processes, and internal guides clearly and consistently.
- Provide occasional support for Windows and Linux users.
