Requirements
- Strong, full-stack-capable engineer with a frontend center of gravity.
- Substantial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Proven experience building and deploying production-grade LLM applications (not just prototypes).
- Familiarity with retrieval (RAG), embeddings, prompt engineering, and agentic tool-calling patterns.
- Deep understanding of AI quality, evaluation, verification, and guardrails.
- Fluent with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Ability to own the full development lifecycle, including automation, monitoring, and reliability.
- Excellent written communication skills for a remote, documentation-first environment.
- Customer-fluent, with an ability to connect development work to user impact.
- Ability to work effectively in small, cross-functional, project-based teams.
Responsibilities
- Ship customer-facing AI features across the full stack.
- Build the experience and what's behind it—LLM-backed flows, retrieval (RAG) and embeddings, and agentic tool-calling.
- Build evaluations, guardrails, and monitoring into AI features to ensure measurable production quality.
- Develop reliable, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that build customer trust.
- Stay close to customers through calls, support escalations, and session recordings to inform product decisions.
- Own product outcomes by defining success metrics, instrumenting performance, and iterating based on data.
- Own production readiness from the start, including automation, reliability, and logging.
