Requirements
- 10+ years of experience applying data science or statistical modeling to real-world problems.
- MS or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Physics, or related quantitative field.
- Proven track record of owning ambiguous, high-impact problems end to end.
- Deep expertise in reliability/survival analysis, time-series and anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and causal inference.
- Strong proficiency in production-quality Python and SQL.
- 3+ years of experience as a technical lead or senior-most individual contributor on cross-functional efforts.
- Experience working with large-scale, complex operational data such as sensor streams, logs, and telemetry.
- Ability to drive alignment across engineering and business stakeholders.
- Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, IoT, or industrial/manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Build models predicting MTBF and remaining useful life for hardware components like actuators and cameras.
- Analyze telemetry and logs to correlate software versions, site conditions, and usage patterns with failure rates.
- Define and implement 'golden signals' for RaaS deployments to monitor performance.
- Develop root-cause and anomaly detection tooling to accelerate system diagnostics.
- Join end-of-line manufacturing test data with field performance to optimize quality feedback loops.
- Define instrumentation strategy to ensure high-fidelity data collection for future modeling.
