Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in a quantitative role with a Master’s degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
- Strong knowledge of causal inference and experimental design.
- Strong knowledge of applied statistical modeling.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end machine learning development.
- Skilled in statistical programming using Python or R.
- Skilled in database usage using SQL.
- Proven track record of owning a technical or business domain end-to-end.
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for audiences of varying technical levels.
- Experience in Payments Fraud/Risk domain is a strong plus.
- Experience evaluating agentic or LLM-based systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply causal inference, experimental, and quasi-experimental methods to measure platform impact.
- Build methods for robust evaluation of ML/AI model efficiency and performance.
- Identify use-cases and develop predictive models for user behavior classification and segmentation.
- Support evaluation and optimization of agentic and LLM-based systems.
- Develop methodologies to simulate the impact of new interventions and optimize operational strategies.
- Deliver robust research reports and effective data visualizations for cross-functional stakeholders.
